Some of us know

Some of us know when the time is right
some of us know there’s no reason to fight
some of us know that we are living things
no machines, no shotguns will ever forgive
because they don’t live

A few on this planet have answers to all
of our questions, like why do dominos fall?
but those creatures who think
they have answers all set
for all humanitys wonders
they sure will regret
one day

One day
when wars are won and peace returns
all those fighters -
by hellfires burned
all those christians -
who think they’re sincere
will pray to their devil when resolution is near
if they don’t love

If they don’t love
for real
