I am so saddened

I go to college in Indiana, but my home is in NJ. Im only a hop, skip and a jump away from the city. To think that such a tragic event has really occurred blows my mind!

I am upset that this is how people choose to deal
with problems, through violence. War never really settled anything. And while this may not be a war, the chaos it has caused resembles one.

I am so saddened.

We are all put here on this earth for a reason and we shouldnt have the right to take away anyones lives. I think that the people in our country have responded as well as they could, thus far. I will not be pleased if revengeful actions are taken.

Although, if any good must come out of this, I hope the USA realizes that while it may think its really big and strong, its still quite smallcompared to some countries. All I can do is pray for our country, for other countries, for world peace and brotherhood. I may be a dreamer, but Ive alwayshad strong faith that love will conquer hate. So if people figure out that the key is love, maybe the hate will vanish.

I can only hope.
