After a while one gets the impression that you are partial against the U.S. That in its turn destroys your credibility as an impartial writer. I hope you dont feel offended. I only wish to point out a very important factor which affects your credibility.

So my advice is... continue to critize the U.S. and itäs foreign policies etc, but every now and then write SOMETHING positive in order to balance your articles. You cant expect top be taken seriopusly if you ALWAYS write negatively about a country and its leadership. You must find a more balanced structure in your criticism.

Thanks Billy. My motivation for beginning to write for Sourze was too expose the real story about Bush and the neoconevatives policies for a Swedish readership. The Swedish mainstream media does an extremely poor job of relaying information that is easily attainable.

I make no pretensions of being an impartial writer. I do not even believe in the conventional idea of objectivity, at least not as it is practiced in Swedish mainstream media. As far as credibility is concerned, I supply sources which I hope interested readers are curious enough to explore.

In other words, I do not share the motivation of most writers. I neither need to make a living at this nor do I desire mass appeal. I believe that the strength of new media like the Internet is in reaching those who themselves are driven by their own interest and desire to learn. Its an interactive environment.

As for balance, I am still attempting to produce a regular "podcast" and even tried to recruit one of my most frequent and vocal critics here in the comment section, to rebutt my viewpoints "on air", as it were. But he declined. The offer is open to whoever might like to try their hand at Internet radio commentary.

But personally I think the American government, mainstream media and the corporate oligarchy devote quite enough rescources to maintaining the myth of America as the symbol of freedom and democracy in the world. The last thing we need is some more feel-good news about the USA.
