Seriously Billy boy, about once a year you pipe in with your little attempt at turning me into a credible writer - by being more positive about the USA! So I will play along with the standard reply: I hang the American flag outside the door of my home out here in the archipelago every day all summer. I teach my 6 year old daughter about the native peoples of North America and of our own ancestors brave undertakings inthe New World. I spent December reading the Revolutionary history of my home City, New York. I love my country and feel great gratitude to the people who have built it.
But that has NOTHING to do with the way the present ruling elite has run it morally, financially and infrastructurally into the ground. However, the American myth machine has untold billions behind it, continuing even to this day putting an acceptable - if not exactly optimistic - spin on the nations inevitable decline.
