Mind me, Ive studied sociology and have extensive bad experience with authors who do nothing more than just put plain common sense in polysyllabic words, mistaking complex wording and extensive reference lists for academic writing. You may disagree with me, but when I write I usually have the reader in mind, and find authors like these a pain in the ass, too lazy or stupid to explain their ideas clearly.
