Same with sex, I think. We often seem to be presenting it as a cheap and rapid source of self-affirmation ‘I’m having sex, therefore I am’ or fun, and somehow fail to teach our youths that it’s most of all about sharing intimacy, giving more than taking and sometimes I wonder if people forgot about that one the possibility of having kids, all of which should include a certain degree of responsibility. But responsibility and commitment aren’t ‘in’, somehow, are they?
