What Im personally wondering is why it had to be sex in the first place? Its of course what he was asking for, but wouldnt a listening ear and a hug or two have helped him more than a failed intercourse? I personally dont see how the superficial rubbing of genitals against each other between total strangers can help in overcoming loneliness. On the short term it may help in forgetting it, but on the long run it probably makes it even more painful.
