Have you read a bit about group dynamics? Theres this tendency within groups with a certain ideology to label all outsiders and criticisers of their ideology as being wrong, erroneous, narrow-minded etc. It improves group cohesion and avoids the need to look at ones own shortcomings. Thats what I had to think of when I read PB and SWs text/comments.
