There can be oppression in everything, bro Fred. My latest body-check confirmed that Im not a woman myself, but I can imagine that many of them may perceive todays beauty-standards to be pretty harsh. We may not like the idea, but theres more dos and donts in our postmodern society than wed like to admit, and more freedom in Islam than wed like to believe.
