David/Ernst: the Dutch approach is very pragmatic: whether you want it or not, people will use drugs. If not legally, then through illegal means. And then its best to legalise it, sos there is some form of control and things dont get out of hand. As far as I can judge this model works perfectly, to the extent that the UK, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland have started copying it.
