I disagree. Id call lies only those things which we withhold from others even though it would be helpful/necessary for them to know. To a certain extent its a sign of respect towards the other if after a How do you do? I don?t bother him/her with all my personal problems unless s/he really wants to know, of course. Truthfulness and integrity towards myself and others is essential. But I dont do anyone a service if I always and every time tell how things really are according to me.
